Genova University Architecture Department is on the hill now called "castello", this is the place where the oldest Genova was born and it's close to the Old port (castello = castrum, fortified town).
It's a modern building beside the ancient structures like the remaining parts of the castle and the archaeological areas and it came part of this context in 1990 thanks to Arch. Ignazio Gardella.
